"Unicorn Plan-It" to premiere on October 1st!

One of Rocco’s most recent directorial projects is about to hit the web! The second season of the successful web series “Unicorn Plan-It” is set to premiere on October 1st at a huge launch party in Los Angeles. The series is written by and stars its three creators, Sarah Croce, Ashley Reed, and Haviland Stillwell, all of whom are talented artists in LA’s GLBT community. “Unicorn Plan-It” centers on a lesbian-run party planning committee trying to find its place in the crazy and eclectic Los Angeles environment. The show’s first season was very successful, and Rocco feels very fortunate to have had the opportunity to direct its second season. Rocco states: “I had an incredible time working with these gifted women who support artists from the GLBT community and who are all about having fun and giving their audiences a gut-busting and highly entertaining experience." VARIETY AND OTHERS REPORT: KELLAN LUTZ & CAMILLA BELLE ARE IN FINAL NEGOTIATIONS TO STAR IN “LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED?”

Kim Rocco Shields’ company WingSpan Pictures announced today that they are in final negotiations with Kellan Lutz (Twilight), and Camilla Belle (10,000 BC) to star in their upcoming independent feature film Love Is All You Need?, directed by Shields.

In the film, Belle will play “Jude Klein”, the star quarterback of the Sparta University football team, who is adored by her large fan base and supported by her enthusiastic teammates.  One fateful night, at a fraternity party, Jude meets “Ryan Morris” (Lutz) a handsome fraternity pledge and aspiring sports journalist. The two fall madly in love but must express their admiration for each other in secret, knowing how their society deems heterosexuality as disgusting and wrong. When Jude and Ryan’s romance becomes public, the two become publicly punished and bullied in horrific ways.

The feature film screenplay adaptation is written by Kim Rocco Shields and David Tillman, WingSpan’s Rachel Diana will produce along with Shields.  The film is casted by Mary Vernieu and Lindsay Graham of Betty Mae Casting (Black Swan, Sin City, The Wrestler).

Lutz and Belle are the first of an all-star cast that is being assembled to star in this socially, poignant and thought provoking film about society, prejudices and love.

Lutz is represented by Innovative and Ryan Daly of Zero Gravity Management and can next be seen starring in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.

Belle is represented by UTA and can next be seen starring in the action, drama, thriller, Open Road.
